Real Wedding: Marta & Sean- Woodinville, Wa

When you see the pictures below, you may think, no way, these aren't real people, they are too good looking they must be models?! We thought so too. That is why we used them as models in our fun photo shoot a few months before their wedding; a fun Mid-Century Industrial themed shoot with Cheryl Ford Photography at Westland Distillery. Anyway, Marta & Sean are an awesome (and yes, very good looking) couple from Kirkland that we just adore. In fact, Sean is the owner of Pike Street Press, which recently opened a second shop in Kirkland.

They got married at the always beautiful De Lille Cellars, the most picturesque winery location in Woodinville. The theme was simple yet beautiful, Eastern European yet Mediterranean with lots of greenery and hints of gold.

Guests enjoyed the fabulous music from Chris Anderson, who DJ'd and also serenaded guests during dinner. Tasty food was provided by Skillet and delicious cake from Hoffman's Fine Pastries and DERU Market.

Gorgeous flowers were provided by Fena and most importantly, beautiful photos from Carina Skrobecki Photography!

Table numbers as well as Wedding planning of course from us at It's Your Day Events & Expressions

REAL WEDDING~ {Kim & Kevin}~ 7/21/12

Kim & Kevin are an amazing couple that got married at none other then the Woodland Park ZOO!  The ceremony took place in a beautiful grassy area  called the Beech Grove.  Even though the location was in the middle of the zoo, the surrounding trees made for a very intimate and beautiful ceremony. Afterward, guests retreated to the wonderfully made up Rainforest Cafe to celebrate the new couple. Guests enjoyed a memorable slide show from the fathers and had some fun in the Photo Booth from 3-2-1 Foto. The food was delicious, the dancing was entertaining and the guests were left with a fun and very fitting favor of animal cookies adorned with a cute little thank you note from the couple.

Many congrats to Kim & Kevin!

REAL WEDDINGS: Katie & Jared, July 2, 2011

Katie & Jared were an amazing couple to work with! It might seem like we say that about every couple, but we truly mean that. Katie is going to school to get her doctorate in nursing and Jared is a "handy man" carpenter. We met with Katie and her wonderful parents Ann & Ben just a few months before her wedding to get her some help finishing up with the planning since she is such a busy gal! It was a great pleasure getting to know both her family, and then Jared's family at the wedding, which included his brother Nathan who was the most amazing florist!

Katie & Jared's wedding took place at the UW Center for Urban Horticulture. The ceremony was in sort of a secret garden area, called the Goodfellow Grove, and the reception in the NHS Hall with cocktails in the outdoor garden area and dancing under the glass atrium.

The whole day had a truly organic and magical feel to it with the inspiring floral touches that Nathan and friends created, a wooden arbor, handmade by Jared himself, plenty of chinese lanterns and twinkle lights, and lanterns, right down to the the guest favors that were little flower shaped seed planters.

There was plenty of fun throughout the night including a photobooth provided by Say Cheez Photo Booth a grooms cake of an armadillo from Sweet Cakes Kirkland and Katie even busted out some of her fancy dance moves on the floor. (We heard she teaches salsa dancing!?)

At the end of the night the couple retreated to their town car after many goodbyes and headed off to a romantic evening at the Edgewater Hotel.
